Humane is in the news again and it’s not as explosive a reason as they would want. Clearly, there is a reason why I would use an incendiary word like explosive and it is simply because Humane in an email is advising all buyers (however many there are) to avoid using the charging cases for the AI Pin.
The company in its email (to paraphrase) asserts that issues with a third-party supplier of battery cell components for their charging case and some other bits did not meet their standards because of certain potentially explosive developments realized during testing. They however stressed that these issues are only tied to their charging cases and not to the Battery Busters and Charging Pads.
So if you are out there and own a Humane AI Pin, please do not use its charging case but feel free to use other charging methods.
